This raid, intended for experienced enduro riders only, combines technical and physical segments. The ” Raid Mekoos ” brings together two regions very popular with Quebec enduro riders: the region of Saint-Michel-des-Saints in Lanaudière and that of the Hautes-Laurentides. You will have the pleasure of riding the trails of two enduro racing courses organized in the past with a challenge that meets your expectations. Your adventure will begin on the shores of the immense Taureau Lake and end 200 km further north near Lake Iroquois at the very comfortable Mekoos Outfitter. An extraordinary 5-day all-inclusive raid that you will remember for a long time!

When you arrive on Canadian soil, our team will welcome you at Pierre-Élliott Trudeau Airport. Once the group is together, head to Saint-Michel-des-Saints by minibus (duration 2h30) for a first night in our base camp, a private chalet just for you on the edge of a lake with an exclusive beach. What better way to start?
This morning, after a good lunch from the lumberjack (typically Quebecois – prepared by Do, the team’s daughter), it’s time to get to grips with enduro motorcycles. Your girls are waiting for you boys! Beautiful KTM 350 or 300 in the colors of Rando Raid Canada. With your private guide, it is a departure for the discovery of the surrounding nature. Beaver dam, natural wetland, white sand beach of Lac Taureau and more! You will have a snack at the foot of the Mattawin hydroelectric dam, located at the mouth of the huge Taureau reservoir. Great scenery for this beautiful appetizer that our raid has in store for you!
First enduro course around St-Michel-des-Saints, one of the most beautiful walks in the area, oscillating between technicality and pleasure for the eyes! Remains of an old timed section, you will set off on a narrow course in the heart of a pine forest then cross rivers and streams, you will face screes and beaver dam crossings. After a good BBQ and a campfire on the square, a (well-deserved!) Night in the heart of nature in your chalet, your cabin in Canada in the woods, just for you!
Prepare yourself mentally for this day because a strong bond awaits you! You will challenge a 150 km loop in the heart of the Quebec forest. You will not see any village between Saint-Michel-des-Saints and the outfitter. Far in the woods, you will have the chance to walk trails that very few locals have had the chance to do. Luggage transport by Do and lunch in the heart of the woods. On the program: lake and river crossings, trails under hydroelectric lines, technical trial-type route (affectionately called the “ Tipi trail ” by your guide and crosses a small stream to finish with a technical descent of the Iroquois mountain . Who says that transitions are generally not technical? Certainly not Rando Raid Canada! An enduro day that ends extraordinarily well at the Mekoos outfitter. In a chalet or inn, you will stay there in complete comfort! warmth, fun and fun, not to mention the quality of the food!
Today, after a delicious breakfast in the very warm dining room of the Mekoos outfitter, another great technical day awaits you on the trails of the Enduro Kiamika club. These trails were developed several years ago by enduro pioneers in Quebec, Messrs. Michel Falardeau (whom you certainly met at ISDE with the Canada team) and Gilles Dagenais. It is now the next generation who maintain these beautiful trails and develop them each year. How about a little happy hour on the water in a rowboat or kayak after a great day of motorbike and before gorging on the beautiful table of the Mekoos team?
After two nights at the excellent Mekoos outfitter, it is now time to return to your base camp in Saint-Michel-des-Saints. The enduro hike will not be any less interesting because you will cross paths usually taken by the local muschers (dog sleds). Narrow paths, makeshift bridges, it’s adventure with a capital ” A ”!
